Here we shall show you how easy it is to
patch your Humax 5400
First open the programme Humax Uploader 1.5 & click Open HDF File

Locate the folder where you
downloaded the Firmware
in this example we are using ToH3.2_HoT1.5b.

Select the ToH3.2_HoT1.5b
firmware and click open
the files will then be transfered to Humax Uploader 1.5
and a confirmation box will appear,close the confirmation box

Now all you need do is send
the files to your Humax
click the 'Upload PC -> STB' button.
You may be required to turn your Humax off then back on
for the upload to continue,follow the on screen messages.
Once you have uploaded the
latest firmware to your Humax
check to see if there are any new HoT Updates, if there are
upload them to your Humax, the same procedure is used as
described above.
Uploading
Keys
Now to get full access you will be required to also upload
the latest key bin files using DSR9500emu Programme.
Download and open the DSR9500emu Programme then click the
file option to locate the folder wher the key bin file is located
Don't forget you must have a null modem connected between
your receiver & computer, otherwise you will not update the keys.

Once located you can click
open and the key bin file
will load into DSR9500emu, all you need do now is to
select an FTA channel on your Humax place a programmed
Fun Card in the embedded Irdeto cam slot, can be programmed
with any 6in1 file, then click the write button on
DSR9500emu.

Re-boot your Humax and if you
get no access to channels
check the following:
1 click the menu button on your Humax then ToH -> Config
at the bottom of the list you will find Caid Preselect
change the option to EMU+K then re-boot your Humax
The EMU+K will be okay for most encryptions
but on Conax you can change to EMU as EMU+K will not always work.
2 check that the PMC Table is also upto date.
